UNIFORM DRESS CODE

Gerald Dishman's Academy of Dance has a uniform dress code policy.  There are several reasons for this.  Dance is a form of expression through movement and positions of the body.  In order to properly instruct a student in the art of dance, the instructor must be able to see all positions and movements of the student.  For example, loose articles of clothing such as t-shirts inhibits the instructor's view of the student's arm, shoulder, and posture positioning.  Therefore, all students must adhere to the following uniform dress code when attending class.
All students must be in uniform by September 1st.
